Summer Teacher Training: Project Heal

Project Heal
Summer Program for K-12 School Administrators, Staff & Teachers

Thank you for your commitment to emotional/behavioral/mental health for yourself and your students.

The past two years have been challenging, and we hope to support you with needed tools to better support your own social/emotional health as well as the health of your students. Our job is to make staff and students’ lives better and we’ve found something we believe will do that by providing a cost effective and rapid way to expand social/emotional supports.

Releasing your Inner Magician (RIM®) is a nonclinical, body-centered verbal way to collaborate with and extend our inherent resilience. The summer training will provide training in 15 evidence-based skills that create emotional safety in a student-generated process. See what you will learn by clicking here.

This year-long experiential program supports your school with innovative techniques to support student and staff wellbeing including:
  • Week long summer training (15 skills)
  • Monthly coaching sessions – Workbooks and materials
  • 12 weeks of individual coaching for implementation
  • Personal RIM session
  • CEU’s
  • Mini workshops with tips about how to respond to student’s emotions in a healing way (during an all-staff PD day)

The special teacher tuition is $1,797 (private pay program is $2,497). We are currently working on gathering additional funds for scholarships. As a result, your school/district will be responsible for the reduced cost of the year-long training at $1,797. The good news is that ESSER funding can be used to cover training costs as follows:

  • ESSER dollars (Title I for students at-risk)
  • Professional Development dollars for Social Emotional Learning (Title II)

To learn more about RIM® and what to expect during the summer training, please attend our Generation Schools SEL Forum on May 4th, from 4-5pm MT. You can sign up here. You can also see a past Forum with Dr. Deb here.

Please let us know by Friday, May 7 if you would like to move forward with reserving space/s.
