The special teacher tuition is $1,797 (private pay program is $2,497). We are currently working on gathering additional funds for scholarships. As a result, your school/district will be responsible for the reduced cost of the year-long training at $1,797. The good news is that ESSER funding can be used to cover training costs as follows:

  • ESSER dollars (Title I for students at-risk)
  • Professional Development dollars for Social Emotional Learning (Title II)

“I’m from Kit Carson and I’ve [experienced RIM] …I was probably the biggest skeptic about it, and it’s unbelievable.  I just think it’s a resource for us in small schools, because you know as well as I do how long it takes to get help for somebody. It’s just hard out here, and we can teach those kids [who are struggling].  Sometimes they don’t need help. They just need understanding; and if they understand themselves, then they are going to be able to take care of that. And that’s kind of what this imagination does…and I don’t think we give it enough credit.  [RIM] is a survival tool for us on the Eastern Planes. It all sounds really crazy and kind of out there, but it is so amazing.  I think that this could be our ticket on the Eastern Planes to helping kids; and we need it.”

“I’ve been a social worker for over twenty years. During my tenure as a social worker, I have been a therapist specializing in sexual abuse and a High School social worker. To maintain my license and to develop my professional knowledge, I have attended a variety of CEU-level trainings annually. In my experience, I found the RIM Essentials to be the most comprehensive and effective training I have attended. The training was very hands-on, well-designed, and informative. No other training has given me a greater number of practical, effective therapeutic tools.”
