Kinds of RIM® Sessions: Individual, Group, and Business
Location: San Diego, California for face-to-face sessions; phone/Skype clients anywhere
Population: Adults, Entrepreneurs, Writers, and Business Leaders
Specialties: I incorporate RIM® in my coaching sessions with individuals going through transition, as well as entrepreneurs and aspiring writers. I am especially honored to hold the space for those suffering from PTSD and other deeply emotional traumas and witness their unfoldment and healing. In the business setting, RIM® is a powerful tool to resolve team dynamics that are impingements on effective collaborative relationships, clearing the way for co-workers and leaders to create greater visions for individual and team performance.
Biography: Kathy Sparrow is an award-winning author, speaker, and creativity/leadership coach. She is the founder of Thriving at Your Edge Adventures where she leads nature-based individual coaching sessions and retreats using fly fishing, hiking, and RIM® to guide individuals in overcoming obstacles to change and expand their horizons so that they live more joyous and meaningful lives.
Additionally, through her Writing at Your Edge programs, Kathy assists individuals in writing for self-healing and sharing messages with readers worldwide. A Master RIM® Facilitator and a graduate of Jack Canfield’s Success Principles Train the Trainer, she has assisted both Dr. Deb and Jack at many of their training programs.
Kathy is best known for inspiring her clients to discover how to become the stars of their own story by creating the space for them to achieve greater awareness of what’s out balance in their lives and to define what they truly desire to have, do, and be–at work, home, in relationship, and at play. She dedicates much of her time to helping others develop their messages for transformation and healing of self, family, community, and the world.
Philosophy: My philosophy is that we are all capable of reaching our highest potential possible if we are willing to embrace the adventure of dancing at our edge––in our work, our play, our relationships. And that means we must be willing to become comfortable with being uncomfortable, and the more we do this, our world expands––and we will experience a life of joy and happiness––even when facing life’s challenges.
Rather than white knuckling our way through life, we meet the challenges and opportunities head on––we don’t dance around them. We dance at every edge that makes us shake in our boots until we realize, “Wow, that wasn’t so bad after all.” Instead of dreading the new and the unknown we can look at the edge of our comfort zone as the place where we are ripe for growth, for becoming who we are meant to be in this world, to having experiences that bring excitement to our lives, and usually where we feel we are making our greatest contribution to society. The RIM® Method helps us transform our mindset so that we can embrace the adventure.
