Biography: MaryAnn McDonald specializes in helping her clients make profoundly positive changes to their lives, largely by overcoming emotional issues from their past, including major and minor traumas. Her background is diverse and includes a traditional master’s degree in counseling psychology, but she is most impressed with her results from the RIM® (Regenerating Images in Memory) process. This comfortable, co-creative approach is based on the client’s imagination and helps unlock emotions and memories for effective relief and healing.
Philosophy: As a transformational coach, I believe that most individuals have within themselves the resources to resolve their own challenges and that sometimes, to do this effectively, they benefit from working with a coach. I find the most beneficial coaching relationships to be cooperative ones that use solution-based techniques based largely on imagination and visualization to work through blocks to success. Many issues we struggle with are related to beliefs and patterns set up during our childhoods, and I use the RIM® technique to help address them. I encourage and support clients to transform themselves as they desire.
