Abstract
European business consultant and trainer Průša, used Regenerating Images in Memory (RIM) as a tool to help ten In-company middle managers deal with emotions to regain perspective; gain insights into and release underlying patterns of limiting thoughts and beliefs; emotions and behavior. The program duration was 9 months with four training modules and 2+ RIM sessions each. Key issues were: Adverse relationships with senior management, adverse relationships with peer colleagues, performance improvement, hiring/firing decision, dealing with difficult customers, making a presentation to senior int’l management, major change (career, maternity), high stress level, insecurity and fear in coping with high job demands, and health.
Findings:
Regenerating Images in Memory (RIM) is an effective tool for leadership development because it provides a true transformational experience that:
- Assists leaders in dealing with difficult situation
- Accelerates leaders’ personal growth:
- increased self-awareness, self-assurance and self-confidence
- releasing limiting beliefs, feelings and behaviors
- increased capacity to make better decisions
- Helps strengthen core leadership foundations
- life balance
- inner calm
- resilience when dealing with critical situations
- RIM can be very helpful to Senior Managers/Owners because they see immediate results that arise from their own inner experience
- Based on Restrospective self-evaluation on a scale 1 to 10 (10=desired level) reveals:
- Business Results/Sales increased by 86%
- Level of Understanding Self and Others increased by 100%
- Skills increased 33%
- Self-confidence increased by 300%
- Motivation for change–remained same
- Trustworthiness increased by 60%
- Deep level of Satisfaction increased by 100%
- Inner Calm increased by 133%
